The SaratogaArtsFest relies on volunteers to produce the three-day event that will continue the city’s growth as a premier arts destination. Please donate your time. You'll have fun while you're at it!

Once you have submitted the volunteer application to the right, a representative will contact you regarding your volunteer assignment and scheduling.

Most volunteers will be Festival Ambassadors, who are the #1 hosts at each participating ArtsFest venue. Usually the first to meet ArtsFest guests, Ambassadors need a smiling face and a friendly attitude. Volunteers will offer assistance, answer questions, give directions, and, most of all, make our guests feel welcome.

All volunteers will receive complete festival information at one of two required training sessions on May 28 and June 3, 6 – 7 p.m., at Universal Preservation Hall at 25 Washington Street. (Complimentary ice cream sundaes donated by Stewart’s!)

Volunteers are needed for the following days. Shift duration varies depending on the event at which you are scheduled, but average around 2-3 hours.

I have volunteered for the SaratogaArtsFest in the past
There will be an orientation for all volunteers. There will be multiple chances for you to attend that orientation. You will be contacted when the orientation has been scheduled.
Waiver of Liability: By submitting the Volunteer Registration Form, volunteer agrees to bear full responsibility and full liability for any and all damage or injury which might result from volunteering at the SaratogaArtsFest. Volunteer also releases and agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the staff and directors of the SaratogaArtsFest, event sponsors and their insurance carriers from any and all claims, actions or damages without any limitation whatsoever, whether consisting of personal injury, property damage or death that results in any way from any act of the volunteer while attending or volunteering at the SaratogaArtsFest. I have read the 2008 Waiver of Liability.
