Ambassador volunteers are the backbone of SaratogaArtsFest. Ambassadors act as goodwill diplomats to welcome and assist ArtsFest patrons of all ages and walks of life. If you're eager to participate in this one-of-a-kind weekend, we invite you to submit an application by April 30.
Ambassadors are needed during the festival for shifts averaging 2-3 hours.
Once you have submitted the volunteer application, the Ambassadors Coordinator will contact you regarding required training and scheduling.
If you are upbeat and ready for anything, we need you!
The Role of Ambassador
Generally the first to greet ArtsFest guests, ambassadors need a smiling face and a friendly attitude. Ambassadors will check for ARTSPASS and single event tickets, offer assistance, answer questions, give directions, and, most of all, make our guests feel welcome.
We depend on your commitment to participate in SaratogaArtsFest. Your presence and punctual arrival for your scheduled shifts are indispensable. If your schedule should change, or if you have an emergency, please contact us immediately.
To thank our ambassadors for their valued participation, every ambassador volunteer who attends training will receive complimentary SaratogaArtsFest gifts.
All ambassadors will receive complete festival information at one required training session on a date to be determined to be held at Skidmore College. During the training session each ambassador will receive an Ambassador Handbook. Things change each year and it is vital that ambassadors be familiar with the new information. Thanks to the generosity of Stewart's, each of our training sessions will conclude with an opportunity to make-your-own sundae and get acquainted with your fellow volunteers!
