The fourth annual SaratogaArtsFest will take place from June 10-13, 2010, in venues throughout Saratoga Springs. Project YES! will again be a part of the weekend-long festival.
Entitled Project YES!—Youth Experiencing SaratogaArtsFest—the program is a collaboration of SaratogaArtsFest, local school districts, and a number of other schools in the area. This program is designed to make the arts more accessible to young people and to encourage families to attend SaratogaArtsFest as it gains momentum as an annual citywide event.
As part of Project YES!, SaratogaArtsFest will give away Admission Packages to students. Beginning April 15, students can apply for the free passes; applications must be submitted by May 1.
The complimentary Admission Package will provide access to the full array of events during the four-day festival. Admission pass holders are also eligible for discounts at 111 local DBA businesses over the weekend. In addition, student winners will receive a Project YES! T-shirt, which will identify them for exclusive backstage access with selected artists. Winners will also be able to purchase a $15 Basic Admission package for an accompanying adult (regular price of $35) or 2 single event tickets.
SaratogaArtsFest 2010 will offer an extensive lineup of performances, workshops, and exhibits for young people covering music, dance, theater, visual art, literature, and more.
