Explore the painterly side of portraiture! Alla prima (Italian for 'at first attempt') is a method of oil painting where the artist keeps the brushstrokes lively and completes the painting before the paint has a chance to dry. This one-day workshop will start with a quick demonstration and then, with Corey Pitkin's guidance, sets the students loose to create their own masterpiece.
