International artist, current professor at University of Alabama and a native of Troy, NY, Paul Houghtaling returns to his home turf to present a fully staged Bach Cantata on the first half, followed by a variety of American song on the second – art song and some musical theater in a “Bach to Rock” program (Paul Bowles, Jerome Kern, Harold Arlen, William Finn, Richard Hundley, and others).
