As the festival's grand opening party and fundraising celebration, Prelude features bountiful food and drink, great music, and of course, terrific art.

Prelude 2011: Support the Arts Under The Stars

Thursday, June 9, 5:00-7:45 p.m.

Hall of Springs, Saratoga Spa State Park

Gold $125, Silver $100, Junior (35 or under) $65 or 2 for $120; reservations recommended. Tickets include admission to the 8:00 p.m. Lar Lubovitch Dance Company performance at Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

 

This art-filled evening, brought to you in collaboration with the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, will begin with a prosecco reception followed by food and wine from Saratoga’s finest. Listen to the soulful sounds of Garland Nelson’s Soul Session, watch the live art creation by painter Frankie Flores, enjoy a performance by Opera Saratoga, and explore the wonderful silent auction items.

As an added bonus, Gold-level guests may attend a post-performance reception with the dancers of the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company.

Proceeds from Prelude help support the festival’s arts Partners through SaratogaArtsFest program enhancement grants.
